Founder & Doctor of Audiology

Esther Kim, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Esther Kim was born and raised in Edmond, OK. Her parents immigrated from South Korea and were entrepreneurs at heart. Inspired by her parents' hard work and dedication, Dr. Kim learned the importance of a strong work ethic and the intricacies of running a business.

Dr. Kim graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In an Introduction to Audiology course, she realized audiology was her true passion. She attended the University of Kansas, recognized as one of the top ten audiology programs, and graduated with a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology.

Returning to Oklahoma City, Dr. Kim began her career at Hearts for Hearing as a doctor of audiology for adult patients. After four years, she was promoted to Director of the Adult Clinic, overseeing operations and growth of the hearing aid clinic, supervising graduate audiology students, initiating the Vestibular/Dizziness clinic, and managing the 3D Earmold Lab. After nine rewarding years, Dr. Kim decided to pursue her dream of clinic ownership.

Dr. Kim's favorite aspect of audiology is how good hearing leads to good communication, which leads to good relationships. As a self-proclaimed "people person," she considers herself in the business of relationships as an audiologist.

Outside of audiology, Dr. Kim's passions include cheering on her Baylor Bears, OKC Thunder, and KC Chiefs, being "Aunt Esther," baking, traveling, working out, reading, and the New York Times crossword puzzles. She is active at Frontline Church, leads a small group, and loves her church family. She is known as the "social chair" for her friends and knows how to throw a good party. Lastly, her heart is firmly attached to her two dogs, Bear and Lola.

Front Office Coordinator & Audiology Assistant

J.J. Sanders, M.A.

Raised overseas, J.J. Sanders developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, global perspectives... and spicy foods!

J.J. earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Ouachita Baptist University in 2006. In 2015, she then completed a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The unique combination of different types of degrees allows J.J. to be knowledgeable, compassionate, and a great listener. It's no surprise she is the most popular person with patients.

After returning to Oklahoma in 2016, J.J. began working at Hearts for Hearing in Oklahoma City and beginning a lifelong friendship with Dr. Kim. Her journey first began as a Patient Care Coordinator and was then promoted to Manager of the Adult Clinic Front Office. After many years (and phone calls), she became certified as an Audiology Assistant and trained with the Adult Clinic to provide hearing care to adults with hearing aid technology. J.J. counts it a privilege to continue collaborating with Dr. Kim in providing compassionate, patient-centered audiology care.

Outside of work, J.J. enjoys spending time with family, being aunt to her nephews and niece, and taking walks with her dogs, Sweet Pea and Shadow.
