hello from hear & there!

For our first blog post, I wanted to take the time to introduce myself and our clinic, Hear & There. In the future, this blog space will have clinic and hearing industry updates, special promotions, tips on how to hear your best, and new hearing technology innovations.

My name is Dr. Esther Kim, and I am the owner of Hear & There and also a doctor of audiology. You can read all the mundane stuff about me and my credentials here. :)

When I was contemplating names for the clinic, "Hear & There" quickly came to mind. Although my desire for patients is to hear their best in our clinic (the "here"), the real test of success is whether an individual can hear in their real world (the "there"). Our goal is for you to hear better here for your real life out there and beyond.

When driving around the Oklahoma City metro area, you may notice many different types of hearing clinics. What makes Hear & There different, and why should you choose us? My goal as a clinician is to get to know you as a whole person, which can take time and effort on both our parts. I want to ensure you feel heard and valued as a patient but also as a person. We want to ensure you can call our office and get scheduled in a timely manner. When you walk through our doors, we want you to feel personally known by our staff and the audiologist, but we want you to also feel like you know us too. Your hearing journey is more than just me as a clinician or you as a patient. It is a team effort that involves me, you, your loved ones, our support staff, your physician team, etc.

I do not take my job lightly, and I am immensely grateful for those who choose to put their hearing care in my hands. I recognize how much of an investment quality hearing care is, but I also recognize your life, overall health, career, and relationships are worth it! With us working together as a team, I am confident we can start your hearing journey on the right start!
